Jean-Michel Cousteau Honored with the Knight of the Legion of Honor

It has been a historical day for Jean-Michel Cousteau. He has been officially awarded the highest French Civilian Order of Distinction, the Chevalier de la Légion D’Honneur, Knight of the Legion of Honor, from President Hollande of France at the Élysées in Paris.

Jean-Michel was surrounded by his family and friends as the President pinned him with a prestigious medal of honor. It was a beautiful evening in Paris.

Jean-Michel continues to work tirelessly to engage humanity to think about sustainability. This medal of honor he accepts on behalf of all those who dedicate their lives to ocean education and protection.
