I extend a warm welcome to you from our Blue Planet Ocean. I am thrilled to be inspiring awareness for ocean protection from Ocean Futures Society’s Ambassadors of the Environment program here at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands. We are so pleased to share that this is the first Ambassadors,/em> program in the Asia-Pacific region.

Earth Day is a poignant reminder of the interconnectedness of all life. Diversity is synonymous with stability and the ocean is the vital living forces stabilizing climate. Now more than ever, it is crucial that we come together to address the urgent environmental challenges facing our oceans and beyond.

Through our Ambassadors of the Environment program, we are empowering people of all nations and all ages to become Ambassadors of the Environment. At The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands guests enrich their stay by learning more about the coral reefs and the natural wonders both above and below water through fun, active, inspirational outdoor education developed over many years by myself and Dr. Richard Murphy, and activated by our team at Ocean Futures Society. From engaging educational activities to hands-on conservation efforts, our program equips participants with the passion to to live sustainably making a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
