At the northern end of the Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia lies Rangiroa atoll, a popular destination for divers due to its beautiful reefs, abundant fish and healthy shark populations. Jean-Michel Cousteau traveled with his team to document one of natures great wildlife gatherings at this far-flung island. They were reminded of the harshness of nature but left with the knowledge of a key principle that nothing in nature is wasted.
The Cousteau team has been on expeditions almost continuously for the past sixty years. Team members have come and gone and many have come back continuously for the next adventure.
