Ocean Futures Society's 2011 Online Holiday Auction
Starting on November 16, 2011, Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to raise money for our organization!
The mission of Ocean Futures Society is to explore our global ocean, inspiring and educating people throughout the world to act responsibly for its protection, documenting the critical connection between humanity and nature, and celebrating the ocean's vital importance to the survival of all life on our planet. The proceeds of the action will support our efforts by funding our education and outreach programs and our film projects.
The auction will run Wednesday, November 16th through Sunday, December 18th (bidding closes between 4:30pm EST and 10:30pm EST depending on the item). You can bid on some truly unique and exciting gifts for your holiday season. We will auction not only special and unique Cousteau memorabilia, but also truly exciting travel and dining experiences. You might bid on a cruise through French Polynesia with Jean-Michel Cousteau, complete with scuba dives in the beautiful, turquoise waters where you will enjoy the diversity and abundance of the coral reefs. Or you might bid on a 7-night stay at the Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort, or an official Ocean Futures Expedition Team Dive Watch by DOXA. Or, in the spirit of giving, you might sponsor and ‘fund-a-need’ by bidding on enrichment programs for local elementary schools in the Santa Barbara County. Be sure to check out these and many more items at our holiday auction page and get ready to place your bid!
